We left Muzaffarabad and traveled 110 kilometers to reach Sharda, passing through the Neelum Valley and the swift-moving Neelum River. Sharda is a well-liked base camp for many tourists in the area, so there’s a risk you won’t get a place there if you don’t book your trip at least 45 days in advance.
